“ Opened since 1929! Always have great experiences here, been coming here for many years! Right across from H‑E‑B in Aransas Pass, cross the Ferry your here. Best homemade food! They have specials daily. I order the whiting fried fish, add 3 jumbo shrimps, mashed potatoes, fried orca and fresh fries! Carbed it up. Always fresh and hot food. My friend got hot roast beef sandwich! Whatever you get here I assure you it’s always worth a cheat! Very short staff so be patient with them, because they are all so sweet and kind!! ty so much for your consistency ”

I highly recommend stopping in and getting a hearty meal before your beach adventure. I promise you and the family will not regret it. Parking can be a pain as there is limited street parking in front of the diner, but it is well worth any kind of wait you may experience. We didn't have to wait long for the record, but if you do it's worth it. This food is cooked to order so it comes out hot and fresh! Don't forget to tip your waitress they bust their rears providing excellent service and quality dining ”
